Awarded the Second Prize of CAS Institute-Regional Cooperation Individual Excellence Award, the Bo Ying Award from the Bureau of Education of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Outstanding Young Scientist Award jointly presented by the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Commission and the Gansu Geological Society. Formerly served as Deputy Chief Geologist at the Exploration and Development Research Institute of PetroChina Qinghai Oilfield Company, where he was directly involved in oilfield exploration decision-making. Having long been dedicated to research at the interdisciplinary intersection of computer science and smart oilfields, he serves as a review expert for the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education and as a peer reviewer for renowned domestic and international computer science journals. He has led and participated in over 30 research projects at national, provincial/ministerial, and bureau levels, and has published more than 30 papers in prestigious domestic and international academic journals. He is the recipient of the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Association and the Third Prize of the Petroleum Industry Association Award. In addition, for two consecutive years, his papers have been selected for the "Frontrunner 5000 — Top Articles in Outstanding Chinese S&T Journals."

Honorary Associate Editor of the international journal Petroleum. Visiting scholar at Curtin University (Australia) and the University of Regina (Canada). Has published over 30 academic papers, been granted 18 patents of various types, and authored 1 monograph. As Principal Investigator, has led more than 20 projects, including international collaboration projects, national and provincial/ministerial foundation projects, and cooperative projects with the three major oilfield companies.

Council Member of the Fuzzy Information and Engineering Branch of the Operations Research Society of China; Supervisor of the Sichuan Provincial Association for On-Site Statistics. His research primarily focuses on data analysis and mining, risk assessment and prediction, information extraction and machine learning, and reservoir numerical simulation. He has published over 30 high-quality academic papers in internationally renowned journals.
